Welcome to the Las Vegas Radio Control Club!
Welcome to the Las Vegas Radio Control Club, an AMA Chartered Club #972. We meet every third Thursday of the month. We fly out of the William Bennet Radio Control Airfield, home of the Tournament of Champions, located at 6800 East Russell Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nestled between the Sam Boyd Stadium Sports Complex and the Clark County Wetlands Park, Bennet Airfield is managed by the Clark County Parks and Recreation department and is open to all RC pilots that are registered with the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Bennet Airfield has a paved runway that is approximately 700 feet long and 100 feet wide. The pilot boxes are protected by a chain link safety fence. There is is a large grassy area between the flight line and the pits area. The pits area has tables and tie-downs for your convenience, and is fenced off from the parking lot. There are permanently covered picnic tables, open bleachers, county maintained port-a-potties, and ample parking in the paved parking lot.
